Each piece is born from the convergence of technology & aesthetic research
Behind every object there are layers, textures and a lot of experimentation. Stone Studio creates contemporary objects that transform 3D printing into a creative language of atmosphere, presence, and experimentation.

How ideas take shape behind each project
It all starts with a 3D-designed digital model. Once the shape is defined, the part is prepared for printing using dedicated software. Depending on the desired result, we use different technologies and materials, choosing the most suitable process based on detail, size, texture, and strength.
We primarily work with PLA and resin, two materials that allow us to explore very different aesthetic languages.
PLA is used for more tactile and structured objects, where layers and textures become part of the final aesthetic. Resin, on the other hand, allows for smoother and more detailed surfaces, ideal for decorative elements, prototypes, or more precise work.
Each material is chosen based on the project, the visual effect, and the atmosphere one wishes to create.
After printing, many pieces go through a manual post-production phase that may include assembly, sanding, painting, texturing, and surface finishing.
It is precisely at this stage that each project acquires character: small details, controlled imperfections, and manual processes make each object more lively, tactile, and unique.
Sometimes the beauty lies precisely in the marks left by the process.
Absolutely.
Some of our most interesting projects have sprung from seemingly impossible ideas, quick sketches or messages that began with: "okay, maybe this is crazy but..."
The process usually starts with an initial discussion to understand the idea, context, and goal of the project.
Then, we create a first draft or 3D model to define shapes, proportions, and feasibility. Once the creative direction is approved, we move on to production, assembly, and final finishing.
From scenic installations to custom objects, each project is developed together, step by step.
Yes.
We create both unique pieces and small series for brands, events, installations, and creative collaborations. 3D printing allows us to produce flexibly, rapidly experiment with new forms, and customize every project without the limitations of traditional production.
In short: if you have an interesting idea, we'd love to hear about it.
